Optimize your Agent Web Console [AWC] with advanced rule options and rule writing. Learn about persona exclusions and how to make the most of widgets, the workflow queue assigner. Dive into the advanced capabilities of the fraud scorecard and discover various approached for customizing score cards to fight assorted types of fraud.

Advanced Reporting

Unleash the power on your data from accepting more orders to anticipating fraud attempts. The ‘Datamart’ reporting tools allow you to pull any information available in the Kount system to help with customer buying patterns, rule optimization, sales opportunities, management reports, and much more. In this session, you will learn how to unleash the power of your own data using ‘Datamart’ tools to not only beat fraudulent attempts, but also increase the number of transactions.

A.I. Products “Data Over Algorithms”

Kount has utilized Machine Learning from the very beginning; with real-world A.I. solutions using expert knowledge, converting raw data into well-behaved machine learning features. But you can’t make up for missing data by having a “good algorithm”. Building upon the “Intro to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” Session, Data Scientist, and A.I./Machine Learning expert, Josh Johnston explores data and feature engineering, “Good Algorithms”, Score Improvements, Feature A.I. Agents, and Machine Learning practical application.

Device 2.0 & Device Identification

Device Identification is the unique identifier assigned to a device based on it's fingerprint and other data points. But with every changing year, fraudsters must dig deeper into the fray to avoid detection. During this session you will learn about device advancements made in order to illuminate the dark tunnels fraudsters hide in, increasing the speed and intensity of the Kount solution.

Did you know, Kount merchants have free access to the Chargebacks911 CRS utility? With a push of a button, you can streamline the entire chargeback retrieval process. Gaining access to the CRS utility means merchants no longer need to worry about gathering all of their chargebacks into a digital format, deciphering and standardizing the information, and then remembering to submit this feedback on a daily basis.

Ethoca – Walking The Tightrope

DThe entire payments ecosystem faces the same set of fraud and security challenges. Both the issuers and merchants have their own fraud tools and scoring. Let’s begin with taking a look at the merchant side of the equation. In this session, learn about the challenges that merchant and issuers face and their collaboration on fraud mitigation and chargebacks.

As merchants wrestle with the costs of manual review and the grief they unnecessarily cause customers by questioning good orders, Whitepages Pro helps Kount customers recognize orders that are just shy of the manual review threshold and speed good orders to clear. More than 1 million new linkages are established between people, addresses, emails, phones and IPs are created daily in our “iGraph.” These linkages are key to establish confidence in an identity as they are presented to a merchant—saving time and money in manual review.

Steve Casco is the CEO & Chairman of CardNotPresent.com and the CNP Expo, leading resources devoted to educating and informing e-commerce and other merchants that accept card-not-present payments. He has been an innovative force in technology, payments, media and education for 20 years.

He has led CardNotPresent.com and the CNP Expo as they have evolved into disruptive catalysts in the card-not-present industry, bringing a fiercely and refreshingly independent attitude to news and information in the space. He continues to create an environment and foster partnerships that are lifting the entire industry as e-commerce and m-commerce experience explosive growth.

Prior to CardNotPresent.com and the CNP Expo, Casco founded or co-founded @eaze Productions, Prepaid Media, Paybefore.com and the Prepaid Expo. In each case, he helped engineer successful acquisitions by global companies including German software firm Conceptware AG and global knowledge provider Informa.

In his spare time, Casco published a book in the field of Internet and Software Security and joined the faculty of Northeastern University in Boston. He has also been invited to serve as a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Casco received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Josh Johnston is a scientist who fights fraud with Artificial Intelligence by exploiting information, making automated decisions, and focusing human agents on relevant data. Josh led research teams building autonomous and remotely operated robots for DARPA, NASA, and Army, Air Force, and Navy labs. His past programs include taking a team to the semi-finals of the DARPA Urban Challenge self-driving vehicle competition, developing autonomy and visualization for explosive ordnance disposal robots, designing the electro-optical/infrared sensor solution for the Sea Hunter unmanned anti-submarine warfare vessel, and creating scientific visualizations in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR). Josh earned a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Duke University in 2005.
